An employee who has accumulated at least three (3) weeks of vacation may elect to redeem three (3) weeks vacation leave in cash in lieu of utilizing said weeks. Any employee who prior to each January 1st has completed his or her twentieth (20th) year of service, shall receive one (1) week of vacation in addition to the vacation leave to which such employee is already entitled.
