Retirement seminar held at BPDBS

On Thursday, January 28 a retirement seminar was held at the Frank DiNatile Hall, 434 Hyde Park Ave. with over a hundred members and other police officers in attendance.

Speakers included Jean Pastore from the City of Boston Health Benefits section, Robert (Bob) Whooley, William (Billy) Carroll, John Forducke , Paul Hynes and Scott Holden. Bob, Billy and Paul spoke about who you are entitled to on regular retirement and disability retirement. John and Scott spoke about what to do with your assets after you retire.

Asking the question of option A or C and what to do with your Smart Plan investments after you retire. All in attendance were provided with a retirement snap shot by Bob Whooley. Refreshments were severed along with a light snack.

Another retirement is planned for the fall in September if there is an interest by the membership.
